Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Hoqmail. Using the service means you accept them.

The service

Hoqmail provides a web interface for reading mail delivered to a mailbox you control. It is a reader: it does not send, forward or reply to mail, and it does not store your messages. The only changes it makes to the mailbox are ones you ask for — marking a message as read when you open it, and moving a message to the mailbox's Trash folder. It does not delete mail permanently.

Access

Access is protected by a single password. Keeping that password secret is your responsibility, because anyone holding it can read the mailbox. If you believe it has been exposed, change it immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hoqmail to break the law, to access a mailbox you are not entitled to read, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or the servers behind it.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without any promise of uninterrupted availability. It depends on a mail provider and a web host, and either can be unavailable. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Hoqmail is not liable for loss arising from use of the service, including lost or undelivered mail, interruptions, or the content of messages that reach your mailbox.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date below records the last review, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
